Melissa is a New Zealand artist from Auckland, New Zealand. She graduated from Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design with a Diploma of Fine Arts, and more recently graduated from Yoobee School of Design with a Diploma of Web & Digital Design.

 

She began creating art from a young age, and after studying both fine arts and design found her passion within the creative industry. She was a finalist in the Hibiscus Coast & Bays Art Awards in 2016 and has exhibited work at ArtFusions in 2014 and 2017.

 

This year, she has sold work at the Coast Collective Markets, the General Collective Markets and has exhibited her paintings and sold work at ArtFusions. Her products have appeared in the Spring Issue of Simply You Living magazine (view here), the Designer Interior Objects Issue of HOME NZ magazine (view here) and the Art, Makers & Designers showcase of Your Home & Garden magazine (view here).

 

Her desire to bring the beauty of nature inside in the form of her paintings has now expanded to include her designs on a range of products. Turning paint into petals and art into cushions.
